Melis Mulazimoglu is a Hacettepe graduate of American Studies as of 2000. She earned her MA degree on Black Mountain Poetry in 2003 and her PhD on Apocalypse in American Narratives in 2010. She has been working at the American Studies Department of Ege University since 2000. Her fields of interest are eco-poetics, eco-horror, Gothic studies, politics of body and fashion, and cultural studies in general.
