I’m a Postdoctoral Researcher at the New English Literatures and Cultures Department of the Institute of English and American Studies. After finishing my studies at Freie Universit├Ąt Berlin (BA and MA) with a thesis on the Postcolonial Gothic in Australia, I earned my PhD as part of the joint programme between Monash University (Melbourne, Australia) and Goethe University with a thesis titled “Unsettling the Anthropocene: Cosmological Readings of Contemporary Australian Literature.” My postdoctoral project explores intergenerational justice in transcultural Anglophone texts, but I remain interested in various forms of the Gothic.
