Dr. Sylvia Sagolsem is an independent researcher currently based in Paris. She is a former Assistant Professor of English Literature at Kamala Nehru College, University of Delhi, India. She completed her PhD with the Centre for English Studies, School of Language, Literature & Culture Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi (2019).

Her research interests are Folktale and Fairy-tale Studies, Folklore and Digital cultures, and Hallyu studies. She has two book chapters forthcoming in 2024: “Phungawari in the Digital Age: Folkloric expressions and new media” (Routledge) and “Hallyu 2.0 and social media in Manipur” (Palgrave/Springer).
